Terms of Service

Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of gemsi.app and related GemSi services, including Free Snapshot reports and paid Monitor subscriptions. By using the site, submitting a Snapshot request, starting checkout, or continuing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you use GemSi on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
What GemSi provides
GemSi helps local businesses see what AI assistants (including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity) say about them, who appears instead, and practical next steps. Free Snapshot is a one-time report. Monitor is an ongoing service with recurring checks, fixes, and rechecks as described on /pricing and checkout. We do not guarantee that any AI assistant will name or recommend your business.
Accounts and eligibility
Services are intended for legitimate local businesses and authorized operators. You must provide accurate business and contact information. You may not misuse the product (including scraping, reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, or attempting to access another customer’s data). Admin sign-in is for authorized GemSi operators only.
Fees, billing, and cancellations
Paid Monitor plans are billed through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout. Month-to-month plans renew until canceled; annual agreements follow the term shown at purchase. Setup fees apply when stated at checkout (including any published waiver window). You are responsible for applicable taxes. Refunds, if any, are handled case-by-case for unused prepaid periods when required by law or expressly offered in writing.
Your content and public information
You grant GemSi a limited license to use business details you submit (name, website, trade, location, contact info) to deliver Snapshot and Monitor services. You represent that you have the right to provide that information. AI answers we measure may reflect public web information we do not control.
No guarantees; illustrative examples
Results vary by market, trade, and over time. Demo scoreboards and example questions on the site are illustrative unless labeled otherwise. We do not sell ranking guarantees, citation guarantees, or promised lead volume from AI assistants.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. GemSi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the site or services. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amounts you paid GemSi for the service in the three months before the claim (or $100 if you used only a Free Snapshot).

Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes to paid plans will be communicated through the email on your account when practical.
