Who we are

GemSi (“we,” “us”) provides AI search visibility reports and ongoing Monitor services for local businesses. This policy explains what we collect when you use gemsi.app, request a Free Snapshot, start Monitor, or message us in chat.

Information we collect

• Business details you submit — such as business name, website, trade, city/state, contact name, and email — when you request a Snapshot, start checkout, or complete onboarding.
• Messages — chat questions and any email you leave for a follow-up.
• Payment data — billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on GemSi servers.
• Technical logs — standard web logs (IP, browser type, pages viewed) used for security, reliability, and product improvement.

How we use information

• Deliver Snapshot and Monitor reports and related service emails.
• Run AI-answer checks and prepare fix/recheck work you request.
• Process payments, prevent fraud, and respond to support questions.
• Improve gemsi.app (in aggregate where possible).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Snapshot or Monitor submissions to cold-call you into a sales pitch — checkout and chat are self-serve.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us operate the product (for example hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and AI model providers used to generate answers we measure). Those providers may process data only to perform services for us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

Retention

We keep business and report records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate history of measured results. You can ask us to delete or correct account-related information by contacting us (see below).

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a SaaS product (encrypted transport, access controls, and least-privilege admin access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

GemSi is intended for business customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of gemsi.app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
